OUT | RAGE: Madness Masquerades

Caught in the midst of your average overwhelming day, OUT | RAGE: Madness Masquerades plows headfirst into a much needed psychotic break. A 30-minute 4-Act space-time bender, OUT | RAGE follows the hard-fought balancing feat between Outer Me and Inner Me as they share a body, but only technically a brain. Through poetics, song, and dance, the Me’s struggle to make it to their next Shout - a lil 5 minutes a Freedom - without fallin’ deep into Madness’ domain. Will they elude the invitation or welcome the dizzying spins this masquerade offers?

OUT|RAGE was workshopped during Mondo Bizarro’s Present series as a thesis presentation for MeLyn’s Masters program and as a continuation of her 2020 Creative Honors Thesis at Stanford University. The production was shared amongst lovingly proud family and community members.
